Wearing a binder when swimming might not have been a great idea, but Apollo didn't care. He had a tank top on over it, anyway, and he was fairly certain the sturdy material was water-proof - none of his had come unravel in the wash yet. And he was almost alone, now - there had been students and staff wandering in and out of the indoor pool for most of the day, but it seemed they had dispersed to do other things - homework, or cooking, or...whatever they did. He didn't mind anyone around, since they mostly left him alone and swam lazily, or chatted by the poolside, sunbathing by making use of the large windows that covered the two outside-facing walls.
Taking a deep, gasping breath, Apollo pushed against the edge of the pool and kicked, stroking his way back to the other end, pushing his body and letting the workout drain some stress. The mutant relaxed into the monotony of the movements, muscles bunching and then relaxing, his head breaking the surface every now and then to take in a breath. The water rippled and splashed, making patterns on the rarely-bared tattoos that covered his arms. Reaching the opposite end of the pool, the dark skinned young man pulled himself up, crossing his arms over the lip of the pool and resting his shin on his wrist, breathing heavily as he used his free hand to wipe exess water from his face.
Kicking his feet lazily, Apollo glanced around the room. A few people lounged at the opposite side of the room, chatting. A couple of figures moved around the room, some splashing around in the pool at opposite sides of the pool from him, Apollo was grateful to see.
