Apollo shook his head, smiling. "I could, but you aren't breaking any rules, so..." he trailed off, spreading his arms. "There's no problem, as long as you don't get into fights or anything." He'd never given a detention to a kid; he hadn't really thought about it before, but Apollo realized that he wasn't too worried at the prospect -- making it one of the few things about his new job and old school that he didn't get frazzled at. It was oddly calming. Although the sheer number of people could give him the nerves, individually all the students he'd met seemed like okay kids.
Now the man turned somber as Willow questioned his little altercation. Apollo waved a hand to dismiss the question, though he answered it anyway. "Oh, it wasn't much of a fight - everyone freaked out because, well, I was suddenly glowing." He laughed lightly at the memory - part satisfaction, part relief that despite his panicked thoughts at the time, he actually had turned out alright. Mostly. "Most of my classmates back then were human, so you can imagine they wouldn't be used to something like that.", he joked. Would she be able to? Here she was, attending school with other kids like her - although he supposed she would remember such a time, since she had grown up at the Institute like some of the other students - or the other teachers.
"That sounds good.", he agreed, putting his hands in his pockets as he started back towards the path they'd wandered off of, waiting for Willow to follow. He'd come out to get some time for himself, but finding another person to talk to - however odd the circumstances - had cleared his head just as well. "Careful not to eat too much, you don't want to miss dinner - it's always something good."
